Flamboyant Cuttlefish
When we saw the flamboyant cuttlefish for the first time, it was so small, we thought it was a nudibranch. On one trip, we were extremely lucky to catch it eating in a very fast move that took all of one second. And we caught it on both camera and video! The first picture here shows its 'tongue' or beak or whatever (the thing that looks like a pointer), which shot out and back in. For the video, I chose the maximum slow-motion option in my software, but the movement is still very fast.
