This shell may look familiar to you if you're Singaporean because it was on Singapore's 75-cent stamp in the olden days of the shell series of stamps. If you were a kid then, it was considered mighty expensive (75-cents was like 7 glasses of cordial from the school canteen). If you were a stamp collector, it was gem to find.
